Dr Sajid Bin Doza Bonny Cartoon Exhibition

'Cartoon,' Dr Sajid Bin Doza Bonny believes, 'is an authentic medium to deliver the real essence of humour.' Having visited many parts of Bangladesh and by immersing himself in different social structures, Bonny was able to identify that life is sometimes convergent in nature even when the culture and its underlying contexts are different to each other; but life is simple and people try to keep their lives cheerful if possible. Bonny's cartoons are sourced from this simplicity.
This exhibition is not to be missed by anyone with a funny bone, or someone with a knack for satire.
Papier-mâché workshop with Alia Kamal

This two-day-workshop is designed to train individuals in the fascinating craft of puppet making to creating sculptures with papier-mâché. This workshop is fit for children (eight and above), and also adults.
Alia Kamal is a visual artist working mostly in oil. In an effort to recycle the waste generated from her studio, she took up sculpting with papier-mâché. Her subjects are embedded in the everyday, inspired by her life experiences. Her quirky bottle paintings and sculptures have helped her create a niche in the Dhaka art community.
She has previously shown in Dhaka Art Center, TEDxDhaka, Longitude Latitude 6, Mad Kofee 2.0 and the Milkshake Collective.
