Tech to expect this year

The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has just concluded recently, and everything you can expect in stores this year has been on public display for the entire world to see.

This year, expect more and more elaborate and sophisticated A.I. assistants to join the ranks of Apple's Siri and Google Assistant, and they won't be restricted for smartphone duties either.

This year also seems to be the year of self-driving cars, with more eminent manufacturers taking the stage and demonstrating road-worthy autonomous driving.

For the home, expect jaw-dropping entertainment tech such as 4K TV's sporting new image enhancing tech like HDR video and even smarter features that can integrate with other devices around your home. VR has already seen a steady but definite increase in popularity and this year looks to pretty head in the same direction, followed closely by AR (Augmented Reality) which allows virtual elements to interact with the real world like the gameplay of Pokemon Go.

Computers and laptops also get new-generation tech to push the already insane limits even further, especially with the unveiling of the Razor Project Valerie, a three-screen laptop with otherworldly specs to make the most hardcore gamer drool.
