Androgynous Fashion Statement 2017

If you thought there was no variation to androgynous fashion you were absolutely wrong. Like any other popular style, androgyny has also been keeping up with the change in time.

THE EMERGENCE OF THE PANT SUIT

If anyone ever told you that you need to wear a dress or a sari to a formal evening. They surely have not yet experienced the comfort of a pantsuit. The best thing about this item of clothing is that anyone can rock it regardless of body type.

BUTTON UP SHIRTS

The traditional labels in shops usually stop us from venturing into different types of clothes. So the next time you visit a fashion store do check out the latest in buttoned flannel shirts available in the men's section.  Loose fit is what we are looking for. These look absolutely gorgeous when paired with tights or skinny jeans.

BLAZERS

Blazers never go out of style. This item can be paired up with anything including jeans and formal pants.

With blazers, everyone has to take you seriously as you look professional and polished from the go.

GENDER FLUID GETUP

The men can easily duplicate their style icons from the '60s with fishnet, paisley and floral shirts, bright hued pants and feather boas.

It's time to set the stage on fire.

Best Androgynous Hairstyle  Ideas

2015 and 2016 has been big on bobs and lobs. If you are feeling a bit bolder in 2017 then the short crops are huge this year.

We love the look of short, androgynous haircuts that can be styled in versatile ways that scream sexy, edgy and bold. They are not considered either masculine or feminine.

Thankfully we are in the middle of a hair, makeup and skin care revolution which makes way for limitless options for the modern, fierce, men and women of today. This can include the pixie cut, the side or nape undercut, the shag or the military buzz cut.

This allows you to go all out and be super creative and express yourself while not having to conform to the traditional gender roles of society.  In this issue we have highlighted some of the looks you can experiment and play with this monsoon!

We have used a shine pomade to achieve the sleek and polished look whilst a hard matt clay application provided a more spiky, playful and casual style.
