Since its inception, Aranya has been involved with dedicated craft enthusiasts and artisan clusters towards the development of traditional crafts. Their choice of materials, namely hand-dyed yarn in silk, cotton, and other blends are woven and embroidered into traditional saris, ready-wear, fabrics, accessories and a wide range of home textiles. The weaving, dyeing process, and block and wax printing are all done by hand and that's what creates the uniqueness in their beauty.
Aranya's work is synonymous with vegetable dyes in blue, green, maroon and such shades; in addition to that, they also make and source original crafts from all over the country to their shops in the capital for sale to the general public. With the summer season already here, it is only natural in the world of fashion that we see a new collection; one that is fresh and has a trendy look which should not only turn heads wherever you go, but also remains manageable for day to day use in our summer heat. Aranya brings just that with their signature vegetable dyed clothing, maintaining all the style, elegance and eco-friendliness we expect from Aranya.
This year, their Eid collection will focus on panjabis, fatuas, t-shirts, kaftans, saris, skirts, unstitched fabrics, shoes and various household items done in different kinds of embroideries-- all handmade from different parts of the country.
