While the traditional iftar begs for dates, piyajus, begunis, haleem, fruits, and chhola, the not so traditional route is pan Asian, bento boxes, fusion rolls and something a tad bit expensive.

One of the best places to satisfy all these cravings without burning a hole in your pocket is to try out Sushi Samurai's all you can eat sushi buffet, this Ramadan.

With over 35 items on the menu, in addition to a limited selection of traditional iftar items like haleem and piyajus. The buffet includes an array of their popular fusion sushi rolls, including their signature and most ordered dishes, like the volcano and hot night rolls.

If ordered from the regular menu, both dishes can roughly mount up to Tk 1,500, but for the mere price of Tk 1,790++ each, or Tk 2,900++ for two, in the month of Ramadan, you can not only eat as much sushi as you want, but also dim sums and the whole dinner menu of buffet that includes authentic Chinese dishes like K-wow fried rice, bulgogis, and even perfectly crisped tempura.

For dessert, they also offer Horse and Horse's (a sister concern) most popular sea salted caramel fudge slice.

The most common opinion amongst customers when opting for buffets for iftar is that the food is not necessarily as good as when ordered a la carte. At Sushi Samurai, that truly is not the case, because each and every item is not only made from the best of ingredients available, but also bursts with flavours that will have you rushing back for more.

The beautiful décor of black, white, and gold accents with chandeliers and marble topped tables makes this a one of a kind unforgettable sushi experience.

As popular as the all you can eat sushi buffet has become, it is thus very important to book a reservation before coming here as seats can fill up as early as three days in advance.

Each guest is allocated into one of the two, two-hour slot buffets, one from 6:30-8:30 PM and the other from 8:30-10:30 PM.
