Domino’s Pizza all set to shake up your online order experience

Domino's Pizza happens to be one of those brands that need no introduction. The international chain started its journey in Bangladesh on March 2019, and has won the hearts of every pizza lover with its delicious pizzas and prompt delivery services.

The brand is globally known to operate with an open kitchen where your pizza is made right before your eyes and delivered to you in a 'box of happiness.' However, in order to experience this, you would have to be physically present in their outlet. That is, until now. The new "Live Pizza Theatre" feature of Domino's is offering an unprecedented experience for customers.

With the help of advanced technology, consumers will now be able to livestream the preparation process of their pizza in their devices whenever they order online!

"A good portion of our regular customers order online, and are often deprived of this fun of witnessing the open kitchen. With Live Pizza Theatre, we are successfully removing this barrier," said Abu Obaida Imon, Country Marketing Lead of Domino's Pizza Bangladesh.

So, how does this work? As you place your order, you will now get two text messages from Domino's. While one message contains the details of your order, the second text will have a link for your Live Pizza Theatre experience. Clicking on it will allow you to watch the real-time view straight from the Domino's Pizza kitchen where your pizza is being prepared.

"We hope that this initiative will be a major step towards being truly transparent on food safety to our consumers," said Saumil Mehta, the Managing Director of Jubilant FoodWorks Bangladesh Limited, in their official press release.

Not only is this initiative the first of its kind in Bangladesh, despite having their outlets in over 90 countries, Domino's itself is introducing it for the very first time in its operations starting with Bangladesh.

With our restaurant culture at an all-time high, we know the hype that revolves around pizzas. So, it is not hard to imagine the excitement of foodies everywhere, after this announcement.

The all too familiar packaging has also gone through a little makeover. Instead of the portraits of their signature pizzas, the blue boxes will now have a sketch outlining the pizza-making process with Live Pizza Theatre written in the centre of the box.

In addition to making delicious pizzas, Domino's is now aiming to redefine your whole pizza experience. And we are here for it!
