Precious Celebrations at Jarwa House

Jewellery pieces are not just a symbol of wealth but also a way of making new memories. This Pahela Baishakh create a special memory by partaking in the celebrations at the main branch of Jarwa House in Gulshan. They will be hosting a mela, but unlike past years they have gone with a more traditional theme for 1425 by hiring students from Charukola to help with the decorations.

Keeping in line with the colours of the day; red and white, they will be celebrating the day by introducing their new jewellery line meant specifically for the Bangla Year. The pieces are mostly made using gold, pearl and some colored stones, light and not heavy, keeping in mind how hot the day can get, making them very elegant. The intricacy in each design has to be credited to their in-house designers.

Jarwa House has been a part of the jewellery scene for the last hundred years or so, starting from their first shop in Wari to now having three branches; they recently opened a new branch in Dhanmondi, aside from the existing two, the main branch in Dhaka and the other at Chittagong. Although primarily known for their exclusive bridal jewellery, they  also provide ornaments for different kinds of occasions and seasons that also include casual parties.

Many of their clients have been loyally purchasing their trinkets from the 60s. The business has been a part of the Roy family legacy for the last four generations running.

Start the year by getting your hands on one of their jewellery pieces on the 14th of April and make yourself or that loved one feel extra special!
