Four Point Sheraton’s latest crowning glory

Noeke Kusuma, General Manager at Four Points By Sheraton Dhaka, was recently presented with the prestigious Bangladesh's Best General Managers (Hospitality) award. This is endorsed by CMO Asia & World Federation of Hospitality Professionals. The certification is provided by the World Federation of Hospitality Professionals. The award giving ceremony was held on 8 September, 2019, at the capital's Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka.

The recognition seeks to identify and celebrate outstanding brand building and marketing deserving individuals in Bangladesh. These awards are an independent brand recognition exercise initiated to give recognition to those individuals who have achieved extraordinary success from innovative and effective people management and customer satisfaction practices in Bangladesh. The mission of the Awards is to educate and disseminate the importance of hospitality and customer service in Bangladesh.

Having 20 years of working experience in hospitality giants like Hyatt Regency, JW Marriott, Novotel and Le Meridien, and across countries like Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and of course her native Indonesia, Noeke Kusuma is very fond of this industry. Despite studying to become an engineer, she switched her path many times, but always kept coming back to the hotel business. "The transition can be exciting, but it does bear a lot of challenges. You have to adapt to a new team and environment in short notice. In addition to that, you have to be on your toes when it comes to solving problems immediately," she said. Dhaka is one of the cities that has always been close to her heart, which she believes has a vast opportunity for hotel business. Therefore, she was really excited before joining here to be able to contribute to Bangladesh hotelier's world, and especially to lead the young, dynamic and enthusiastic team of Four Points Dhaka.
