NEWS FLASH

KAALMEGH pours sunshine on urbanites

Imagine a late afternoon, the balcony of a 3-bedroom 10th floor apartment in the middle of the city, the sun setting at the edge of the cityscape, an easy-chair and a mug of smoking coffee.

Now take out the apartment and replace it with a luxurious duplex villa located right in the cradle of nature.

Soon, there will be more things to replace – the pale polluted city sky with the unsullied blue of the suburb; the concrete jungle with real green trees and lush lawns for a concrete pavement, the shrill noise of drilling and piling with the chirping of sweet birds and crickets.

Now, reimagine the entire thing and see whether it is exactly what a tired city mind would want to have at the end of weeklong toil and mad rush.

These are the kind of things that people are used to having in holiday resorts, spending weekends with families and re-energising for yet another hard week.

What if one of these dreamy places could be owned–completely surrounded by nature in its true unadulterated colour and fragrance, far from the maddening manacles that cripple the urban mind.

Imagine the kind of energy one can gain if they could live and relax a weekend or spend a long vacation with their loved ones in a place that is very much their own.

Not too far from Dhaka,Leisure Kaalmegh, Villas and Country Club – winner of Asia Pacific Property Award and Bangladesh Brand Forum award – is offering just that. The maiden venture of Leisure Bangladesh Limited, Kaalmegh happens to be the first ever country club in Bangladesh.

The 52-bigha secured walled community is located in Sreepur of Gazipur, right at the edge of Kaalmegh reserve forest. They are offering three types of duplex villas ranging from 3080 sqft and 5088 sqfteach with state-of –the-art private swimming pool, open air Jacuzzi, barbecue corner, raised lawn manicured garden.

Zinat Ameen, former employee of Singapore Airlines, went straight back to her childhood the moment she first set foot at Kaalmegh. And the next thing she did was buy a property there.

Rajib Hasan, finance adviser of the British High Commission in Dhaka, said: "We must give our children the proper space for growing up alongside good education. We cannot ensure that balance in the cities and so we have to think about sending them abroad. But if we can have this unique place that we can make our home, then we do not need to think about going abroad. Because it is very close to the city, it is very convenient."

He also said: "The plan of Kaalmegh Villas and Country Club is quite progressive as the project offers a positive forecast for value of money"

Dr Lutful Aziz, senior consultant of Apollo Hospital, went a step ahead andhas decided to shift here. He is contemplating a wonderful time with his family in the close proximity of undiluted nature.

Each of the villas is equipped with all kinds of modern amenities such as a private swimming pool, outdoor barbeque grilling sets and lush green grass lawns for the children to play. Moreover, each villa comes with a complementary club membership.

The USP of the project however lies with the magnificent Kaalmegh Country Club, a 30,000 sq. ft colonial style Kaalmegh Club Houseoffers 5-star service and an array of indoor and outdoor activities such as an Olympic size swimming pool, a Thai managed spa, steam, sauna, Jacuzzi, and children's play area, movie theatre, library, cafe, multi cuisine restaurant, convention hall. The great outdoors are there to be explored in the lovely tree house, quaint fishing pond, golf putting green, energising jogging track,a huge football and cricket ground, tennis court and so on.

The membership of this state-of-the-art club is absolutely free for the proud owners of Kaalmegh Villas.

World famous 'Grohe' fixtures and fittings have been used in each bathroom of Kaalmegh Villas. The floors on the other hand are made of superior quality imported tiles and marble stone; all doors and windows are made from high quality teak-wood. A well maintained helipad, 24- hour power back up and round-the-clock security by retired army personnel add further value to this prestigious project.
Just having a look at one of the villas is bound to give the expression that this is the place one would want to have up their sleeves – not just for spending a relaxing weekend or a vacation with family in the cradle of nature, but also to call friends over for a night or a day out and show them proudly how a dream has come true.

Owners can see this as an investment. Renting out the villas can generate consistent income for the owners which can be expected to appreciate in value as time goes by.They can rent the villas out to tourists throughout the years or as and when they wish. Each of the rooms in the villas can be rented out separately. The owners also reserve the right not to rent it out at all.

Leisure Kaalmegh has already entered into an agreement with Unique Luxury Hotels of Asia, a renowned Thai management company to manage Kaalmegh Villas and Country Club whileBangladesh's Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) is a financial partner of the project.

Ahmed Kabir, Country Manager of Dano, endorsed Kaalmegh saying: "This is a reliable project because of the integrity and commitment of the owners. There is no chance that anyone will build a factory anywhere near this area in the future. So, the serenity will remain like this for many, many more years to come."
