First ever makeup contest in Bangladesh

Both amateur and professional makeup artists are now working with products and styles which were not even imaginable just a few years ago. To unlock their full potential, these artists are about to have a first of its kind opportunity. 

Woman's World and Banglanews24 are collaborating for the first makeup contest in Bangladesh. This contest is titled "Battle With Brush" with the tag line "Chase Your Dream."

Kona Alam, Managing Director of Woman's World, wanted to give a platform to all the creative minds out there who dream to place their name in the makeup industry.

The top 10 semi-finalists will be groomed by celebrity makeup artists like Makeup Maniac By Linda, Raisa Naushin, Mim Sabiha Sabrin, Niloy from Vogue and Vagabond, and Pop of Colour Founder Tinker Jannat Mim. The winner will receive Tk 1,00,000  and a one year contract from Woman's World, plus a selection of exciting gifts. Farnaz Alam, CEO of Woman's World and founder of "Kona By Farnaz Alam" will give the winner a chance to work as a makeup artist in her company. She made her presence felt at the London Fashion Week in 2017, working for brands like MAC, NARS, and Bobbi Brown, to name a few.

The winner will also get the chance to work with a few of the best names in the industry like Azra Mahmood, Prito Reza and Mahmudul Hasan Mukul.
