A FREE FALL

Monsoon has finally bid farewell, making way for clear blue skies and parades of 'brilliant-white' clouds. Far below them, wild bushes of kans flower - 'kash phool' - have started to grow here and there. And like those parades of brilliant clouds high up in the skies, tiny fragments of 'kash phool' float about in the air around us. 

It's not all perfect, though. The blazing sun - probably ferocious from the fact that it couldn't quite make its stand in the heavy monsoon - has now unleashed its wrath upon us. 

Given the weather, this is a season to go carefree and casual. The last thing you want to do in this hot and humid season is to wear something heavy or uncomfortable. Go with just a light dash of makeup. Cotton is of course a priority in terms of fabric. Simple, casual and light-coloured tops are the way to go. Wear sandals that are breathable. 

If you must jazz up your wardrobe, scarves are a fantastic fashion accessory. Stilettos are always sleek and pairs well if you want give the casuals a slightly formal look. 

So this autumn, shed off anything taxing and carry a laidback attitude. A free Fall!
