Ushering in spring with the Le Reve Fashion Show

The spring season brings with it an aura of freshness and Le Reve's spring/summer collection 2018 tends to capture just that. With the motto for their new collection being “bold, bright and cosy,” Le Reve's clothing line this season is dominated by bold colours and fun patterns as was revealed in their exclusive fashion show. The event, which was held on the 17 February, 2018 in their store in Mohammadpur, not only showcased Le Reve's new line, but also provided a platform for fashion enthusiasts to admire the intricate details present in their lineup.

The event started with Monnujan Nargis, CEO of Le Reve, providing the audience with some insight into her collection. With most of the fabric for menswear being made by Le Reve, utmost care is taken into bringing quality products that are both stylish and comfortable. After researching the latest international trends and runway fashion, she was finally able to achieve a balance between fashionable trendy clothes, while keeping the tropical climate in mind.

The show started with an elegant flaunting of their iconic nine-to-nine collection. Especially designed for the busy urbanist, the collection consists of tunics, shirts, and long shirts which are not only comfortable as work wear but are also trendy enough to be worn on social outings or dates after work. With chic sleeves and minimalistic patterns, these are found in neutral shades of blue, white, and pastel. For the men, there are slim-fit casual shirts and polo shirts, ideal as everyday work wear.

The next collection, which consisted of everyday casual wear, was full of vibrant colours and funky patterns to resonate with the spring/summer vibe. Frills, tassels, and pompoms are used to add a bit of dimension to the outfits. The lime, green, and red tops, along with long shirts had a flowy vibe to it, making the fashion iconic. For the men, the funky bright neon t-shirts are sure to be ideal for everyday wear, especially those with chic tropical designs. They also have products targeted towards children as well. Girls can have adorable pink dresses with frills, floral prints, while the boys' lineup is all about the right colour combination.

Le Reve has also excelled in ethnic wear, blending the traditional and contemporary to create the perfect fusion wear. From stylish bottoms to kurtis with uneven hemlines, the collection has everything, and is ideal in creating a unique fashion statement at parties. The interesting shapes and the bold colour combinations all lend to the allure of their ethnic wear. For the men, the panjabis are mostly in light shades of white, pastel, and sky-blue, with simple patterns such as stripes or checks. If you want something for the little ones, try the fuschia lehengas for girls or the blue panjabis for the boys!

The show concluded with their athleisure collection. Perfect for leisure hours or for going on adventures, the athleisure collection focuses on maximum comfort, since the designs are minimalistic on light neutral shades. Along with t-shirts and polo t-shirts, they also have a line of graphic tees with inspirational quotes. So, make sure you add them to your wardrobe to stay up to date and pay Le Reve a visit.
