Remember playing with your clay dough as a child, molding it into different shapes and sizes? Do you want to revisit those childhood years or simply dream of sinking your hands in soft clay and shaping it, bringing it to life?

Well, Dhaka dwellers fear no longer. Clay Station, a one of a kind recreation centre, is here for you.

The services on offer at Clay Station are numerous. You can check them out on their

Facebook page before you decide to pay a visit.

First you have ‘Pick & Paint’, here you choose an already made ceramic item and can paint it all the colors of the rainbow. Price for this category ranges from BDT 500 to BDT 3,000 and will vary as per the item selected.

In the ‘Play with Clay’ category, you get an hour at BDT 1,450 to try your hands at making something out of clay with the help of a master ceramist. The finished product is then baked so that you can use it for various purposes.

And if you have always dreamt of trying your hand at the potter’s wheel, Clay Station will not disappoint you, they have the ‘Throw like a Pro’, here you get to dig your hands into the soft malleable clay shaping it and working it on the wooden potter’s wheel. All this for a price tag of merely BDT 1,650.

And finally for the potter at heart there is ‘Learn to Clay’. For BDT 6,500 you can learn how to build free hand or how to use the potter’s wheel with our programs set for amateurs.

“There is something cathartic about sinking your hands in the soft malleable clay, shaping it into a cup or bowl (the only things I can make),” said one frequenter of the pottery studio.

In its essence, Clay Station is for all those adults wanting to go back and revisit their childhood, it is a service, a place where you go and let loose, where you create both objects and memories.

If you are looking to create moments, want to spend some quality time with your children without going to the restaurant, or want to celebrate a special occasion, Clay Station has the option for you.
