Wearing neon

The arrival of spring brings with it a fresh splash of colours as the seasonal flora takes over the otherwise monotonous winter surrounding. Inspired by this revival of life, spring fashion has always been one of bolder shades of pink, orange, and yellow. Taking things up a notch, spring this year brings back a flamboyant trend of the 80s. Neon shades are back, and with vengeance!

Enough with boring greys and blacks. Magentas, electric blues, and bright yellows have already hit the runways worldwide and it is only a matter of time until they strut into our wardrobes.

Hot Pink Vibrance

The most classic way to pull off neon you may ask? Put on a hot pink kameez, throw on a bold pink lip and you'll look perfect. Yes, it's that easy to pull off neon pink! Neutral eyes will suit this look the best.  Subtle gold patterns on the dress combined with a neat hair up-do will make your outfit totally Dawat-appropriate.

Purple Affair

Purple is more wearable on the neon-spectrum, so when it comes to this shade, don't be afraid to play with textures! A purple dress with lace or fringe details will look super cute! Go extra and throw on a purple lipstick to match the outfit. Keep the eyes simple and neutral. Something like a cut-crease with a subtle shade of silver can really amp up your look.
