Le Meridien to begin early Valentine's celebrations

Le Méridien Dhaka is scheduled to start Valentine's celebrations early - from Thursday February 11. The hotel will be serving an extended 'Valentine Special Buffet Dinner' with a side order of cake art tutorial. Couples will be given chocolate cakes to decorate with a variety of frostings and toppings that they may take home with them for an after dinner sweetener.

Favola, the hotel's classic Italian dining restaurant, is offering a five-course Masquerade Dinner where couples will be given 'for him' and 'for her' masks to wear while dining. What's more, there will be a violinist to serenade each couple with tempting tunes to stir the atmosphere.

The hotel's recently opened premium Mediterranean restaurant, Olea, will be welcoming couples to share their dinner in a single platter of over five courses to add a little more intimacy to their date. Dinner will be accompanied by salsa dancing, with help from trained professionals.

Each of these dinner engagements are being offered at the price of Tk 3600++ per person every night and couples only need to decide which night and which restaurant they want to select for their date. Each venue will also have its own photo booth. Couples taking selfies on site and posting on the hotel's Facebook page (with the assigned hashtag '#IHeartLMDhaka') will receive complimentary fresh juice to go with their dinner.

To add on to the Valentine's celebrations, one best-dressed couple from each of the three restaurants will be selected to win a room package from the hotel, as well as a special gift voucher from Yellow fashion apparels, the four-day event's lead sponsor.

The hotel is also offering room packages for couples - for the four nights, including buffet breakfast in Latest Recipe and relaxation massages at its signature rejuvenation centre, Explore Spa. Price tage is Tk15000 per room. The same package is also available with the inclusion of set dinner in Olea for Tk19000 per room.
