Bhorta competition by ACI and Ananda Alo

Bhortas are quintessential to the Bengali menu, making them an integral part of the cuisine. In order to promote the different bhortas in Bangladesh, the programme National Bhorta Competition 2017 had taken place. It was jointly organised by ACI Pure Mustard Oil and Ananda Alo.  The 'gala round' was held recently at the premises of Channel i, where the judges (actor Afzal Hossain, chef Keka Ferdousi, and children's author Amirul Islam) selected the first, second, and third winners. 

Distinguished culinary artists and many other renowned personalities graced the event with their presence.
