Monsoon Makeup

Brighten up the gloomy days of monsoon with your beautiful aura and fresh, glowy looks. Dewy skin along with some colour on the eyes should be your go-to this season. And we're going to guide you through exactly how you can achieve the perfect monsoon makeup, effortlessly.

Monsoon Makeup Tips:

Use waterproof foundation and concealer for a longer lasting base.

Apply your highlighter by wetting your brush for an enhanced, goddess-like glow.

Use a white base for your eyeshadow to make the pastels really pop.

Use a wet brush to apply shimmer shadows to make them look a lot more vibrant.

Carry a waterproof eyeliner with you for an on-the-go fix in case the liner starts smearing on your eyes.

Glowy Base

Monsoon calls for fresh, glowy skin. So we suggest you to go for a dewy base. If you have dry skin, use an illuminating primer followed by a dewy, hydrating foundation. Apply some highlighter on the high points of your face (either powder or liquid) to amp up the glow.

If you have oily skin, you can still look dewy without getting greasy. Just use a matte primer accompanied by a semi-matte (or natural finish) foundation. Use a powder highlight on the high points to add the glow-factor.

Don't forget to lock it all in with a good setting spray so that your makeup doesn't melt away due to the awful humidity! Those with oily skin should definitely use a spray that's labelled as mattifying instead of dewy.

Use a peachy blush and an illuminating bronzer for a radiant, youthful look!

Pastel Eyes

Bright and fun eyes are the way to go for monsoon! Pastels are very trendy at the moment, so we recommend you to play around with some baby blue, pinks or even yellow! There are so many kinds of looks you can create-- halo eyes, cut-crease, half cut-crease etc. If you want to keep it simple and easy, just do a neutral eye-look and smudge a pastel shade on your lower lashline. Whichever look you go for, the colours will make your eyes radiate the perfect brilliance in a dull atmosphere!

Make sure to use a waterproof eyeliner and mascara along, possibly a waterproof eye-primer too! This will keep your eye-makeup looking nice and smudgeproof, even when you inevitably get drenched in the rain!

Plump Lips

As for lips, you can either go bright or keep it very neutral. Pair a bright pink, red or coral depending on your eyelook. These colours are super popular for spring through monsoon this year! Or you can do a glossy nude lip which looks beautiful and is very hot at the moment as well.

You may overline your lips the slightest bit if you're into the big, juicy lip-look.
