US-Bangla to operate weekly 6 Dhaka-Male flights from Oct 31

Amid growing demand of tourists, US-Bangla Airlines will operate weekly six flights from Dhaka to Male, the capital of the Maldives, from October 31.

The private airlines of the country will operate the flights every day of the week except for Thursday to facilitate Maldivian expats and tourists to make travel plans amid increased passenger demand during the winter, the airlines said in a release today.

From November 19, 2021, US-Bangla Airlines became the first airline to operate three flights a week with Boeing 737-800 aimed at serving expatriate Bangladeshis.

Currently, the airlines is operating weekly four flights on this popular tourist destination.

From October 31, flights of US-Bangla Airlines will depart from Dhaka to Male at 9:00 am on every Monday, Tuesday and Saturday and will also fly from Dhaka to Male on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 8:45 am.

From Male, the flight will depart from Velena International Airport for Dhaka at 1:20pm local time on every Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.

On every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, the flight will depart from Male at 1:05pm local time.
