Amongst all the noise, uncertainty and mundaneness, the hearts of all the Dhakaite and netizens alike burned like embers in the recent hit concert of Coke Studio Bangla. Despite the torrential hammer of the god, people still showed up and made it into the show, which rocked people across generations. This only reinforced the idea of why we need more live musical concerts now.
Just think, what does life in a post-pandemic Dhaka have to offer? Fast broadband Internet, imported groceries and goods, and the favourite pass time of all the residents of Dhaka — restaurant hopping. After making the umpteenth round of all the bistros, eateries and food courts, there really is not much to do for us besides losing weight at an overpriced gym.
