Future with robots

On December 29, The Daily Star published a piece titled Living with robots—Dhaka in 2050 in its youth magazine Shout. I do not think that robots will be a threat to human existence. When artificial intelligence is used for the welfare of the humanity, it is a boon. In Japan, robots are used to help senior citizens, especially the disabled ones, in their daily chores. Dubai has robot cops, and Dhaka should follow suit. Space is being explored using spacecrafts that are nothing but flying robots.

But you cannot use AI to wage a war. Robot soldiers can be deadly, and even a threat to the human race. It is up to the humans as to how they want to use the potential of robots and artificial intelligence.
