Don't blindly follow alien cultures

Nowadays, the younger generations are following western cultures blindly in the name of “progressiveness”. But many of them have forgotten that no one can be actually progressive without knowing and practicing their own culture. Although there are many positive aspects in western culture, we should keep in mind that certain aspects of Western culture may contradict with our values. While family bonds in the West seem to be disintegrating, their culture of individualism and consumerism has often led young people to become more and more self-oriented.
