A Khulna court today granted bail to Ruhul Amin, coordinator of Shramik-Krishak-Chhatra-Janata Oikya Parishad, in a case filed under Digital Security Act.

Khulna's Metropolitan Sessions Judges Court passed the order around noon today, our local correspondent reports.

Ruhul's lawyer Akhter Jahan Ruku said that the court granted the bail upon a bond of Tk 10,000.

Earlier Ruhul was denied bail twice.

On February 26 night, police arrested him and Niyaz Murshid Dolon, a member of the Oikya Parishad, from Goalkhali in the city. The next day, police released Murshid and filed a case against Ruhul under DSA.

The case was filed for allegedly tarnishing the image of the government through a Facebook post.
