Khaleda to attend rally against broadcast policy

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address a rally organised by 20-party combine on August 19 at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital to drum up opinion against the National Broadcast Policy-2014.
The decision was taken at a meeting of BNP-led 20-party alliance last night, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told reporters at the praty's Nayapaltan office today.
Similar programme will also be held at the district headquarters across the country on the same day.
Besides, the alliance will bring out black-flag processions across the country on August 16 protesting Israeli offense in Gaza Strip, Fakhrul said.
