Khaleda slams killing of Palestinians

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia yesterday strongly protested the killing of innumerable Palestinians through Israel's air strikes in Gaza.
Israel has adopted terrorism as its state policy to obliterate all signs of humanity in order to satiate its hunger for imperialism, she said.

In a statement, Khaleda said, "The blood of many Palestinian people, including women and children, is being shed while many others are being displaced from their homes in the past due to such a state policy of Israel."
The former premier also termed the air strikes on the Palestinian people the cruelest military operation in recent times.
"It seems that acts of vengeance won't stop until the obliteration of the Palestinian people," she said.
The BNP chief lamented that the Palestinian people are not getting respite from Israel's barbaric attacks on them in the holy month of Ramadan.
She urged the Israeli government to immediately stop these heinous attacks on the Palestinian people.
Khaleda also called upon the United Nations and the international community to mount pressure on Israel to stop its destructive military operation.
The death toll from five days of Israeli air offensive in Gaza rose to more than a hundred, and the air campaign showed no sign of stopping on Saturday.
