BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has condemned the killing of Palestinian people in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.

In a statement today, Khaleda said, “Bloods of many Palestinian people, including women and children, are being killed while many others are being ousted from their homesteads as in the past due to Israel’s such state policy.”

The former premier also termed the air-strikes on the Palestinian people the cruelest military operation in recent times.

“It seems that the clutch of vengeance won’t stop until the obliteration of the last existence of the Palestinian people.”

The BNP chief lamented that the Palestinian people are not getting respite from the Israel’s barbaric attacks on them in the holy month of Ramadan.

She urged the Israel government to immediately halt the heinous attacks.

Khaleda also called upon the United Nations and the international community to mount pressure on Israel to stop the destructive military operation.

The death toll from Israel's five days of air offensive on Gaza has topped 120, and the campaign showed no sign of stopping on Saturday.
