Each year, Time publishes an editor-curated list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Before the issue comes out, Time runs an online poll where readers can cast their vote for where politicians, actors, musicians and athletes should rank on the list.

The top of the poll has otherwise been dominated by the entertainment industry figures.

After Kejriwal and Modi, Egyptian military commander Abdul Fattah al-Sissi was the next world figure on the list.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, with 96,070 reactions, is ranked 40th on the list.

While the AAP leader has received 71.5 per cent ‘yes’ votes, the BJP prime ministerial candidate has the largest percentage of ‘no’ votes than any other personality in the running.
