Justice denied, says Sayedee’s family

Jamaat leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee did not get justice, family members of the war criminal said today after the apex court commuted his death ruling to imprisonment until death.

“According to our submission before the court, we hoped that he might be proved innocent,” Masood Sayedee, one among the four sons of the Jamaat nayeb-e-ameer, told The Daily Star in his reaction after the SC verdict.

“We will file a review plea seeking acquittal of Sayedee from all the charges after getting the copy of the full verdict,” he added.
