In Comilla, three platoons from 4th Bengal ‘D’ Company take positions in Yaqubpur, Kuapaina, and Khoinol to ambush Pakistan forces from all sides. Freedom fighters made an intense attack on a Pakistan Army patrol team as they came close to their position. 8 Pakistan soldiers are killed and 3 injured in this assault.
