Journalist Al-Amin passes away

Journalist Md Al-Amin, news editor (English version) of the online news portal thereport24.com, died of heart ailments at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in Dhaka yesterday. He was 46.
He worked for several media houses, including The Daily Star for over one and a half decades. He left behind his wife, two children, and was buried in his village home in Gaibandha.
Born on June 2 in 1968, he studied international relations at Dhaka University and started his journalism career as a sub-editor of The Daily Star and later became the joint-news editor of the Daily Sun and planning editor of primekhabor.com
