JCD calls indefinite strike at DU from tomorrow

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, the student wing of BNP, has called an indefinite strike at Dhaka University from Sunday demanding resignation of Vice Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique.

The VC has failed to ensure co-existence of the activists of all political parties on the campus, Central JCD President Rajib Ahsan and General Secretary Akramul Hasan said in a press release this afternoon.

Earlier on February 2, the party observed a two-day strike on the DU campus and threatened an indefinite strike if their demands are not met.
