Janata Bank gets new chairman

Shaikh Md Wahid-uz-Zaman, former principal secretary to the prime minister, has been appointed the chairman of state-owned Janata Bank.

He will replace Abul Barkat, an official of Prime Minister’s Office told The Daily Star.

The prime minister signed the appointment letter of Zaman today, the PMO staff said.
