Indian envoy greets Raushan

Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran met with Raushan Ershad this evening and congratulated her on becoming the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament.
The Indian envoy went to the Gulshan residence of Raushan, also a presidium member of the Jatiya Party, which won 33 seats in the boycotted January 5 election.
The meeting continued for around an hour from 5:10am.
But the contents of the discussion could not be known immediately.
Party insiders said Pankaj Saran met Raushan to welcome her on assuming the office of the opposition leader.
