PM mourns Soumitra’s death

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock at the death of legendary Bengali actor Soumitra Chattterjee.

In a condolence message, she said a big vacuum has been created in the sphere of acting due to the death of the brilliant thespian.

"Soumitra Chatterjee will remain in the hearts of people through his creative works," she said.

The Prime Minister prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
