Film festival on Salman Shah's death anniversary

Salman Shah took Dhallywood by storm with his very first film “Qayamat Theke Qayamat”, and never had to look back. Before his untimely demise on September 6, 1996, he acted in 26 films, and is said to be the most popular film star since the '90s.

To mark his 18th death anniversary, Dhuli Communications is organising the weeklong “Salman Shah Memorial Festival 2014” at the Balaka Cineworld in the capital from September 6. A total of seven of his films will be screened, while members of the film fraternity will also reminisce on Salman.

A souvenir will be launched as part of the festival, while a documentary will  be screened on the actor.
