Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Javed Patwary has asked law enforcers around the country to remain tolerant, polite and professional with public while performing duties.

The IGP, in a message issued yesterday, also ordered his subordinates to ensure free movement of emergency service providers and vehicles connected with essential services.

"Ensure free passage for people and vehicles related to emergency services, like medicine, daily essentials, food, electricity, banking and mobile phones," the message reads.

"Be polite, patient and professional in dealing with citizens of the country while performing your duties," the message added.
