HAPPY MOMENT

New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson’s 14th over during South Africa’s innings was undoubtedly the moment of yesterday. After being struck for a boundary by Proteas skipper Faf du Plessis, the Kiwi pacer came up with a typical fast bowler’s response with a 149 kph bouncer. Perhaps Faf was expecting another short-pitched delivery, but 28-year-old Ferguson had another idea as he fired in an unplayable yorker which zipped past the right-hander’s bat and dislodged the stumps. It was a display of a perfect yorker from an aggressive fast bowler and Ferguson celebrated the important wicket with a touch of revenge.
