Nawshaba: The hugely popular drama serial “Lalita” on Ekushey TV, where I played a sex worker.

Tell us about your work in “Udhao”?

Do you have any new film assignments on hand?

Nawshaba: Yes. Director Rubiyat Hossain's “Under Construction”, where I play a stylish expatriate. I'm also appearing as a guest artiste in “Chhuye Dile Mon”, directed by Shihab Shahin. My co-stars are Arefin Shuvo and Lux Superstar Momo.

What is your plan with your career?

Nawshaba: I hope to be an established actress, but I'm in no rush to do so. In the showbiz world, I believe that I have to run like the proverbial turtle, not the rabbit.

You have a diverse portfolio-- TV plays, films and theatre. What's your main line of interest?

Nawshaba: Films. I want to act in good films that will get critical acclaim.

What do you consider your strengths?

Nawshaba: My biggest strengths are my patience and strong will. As I don't turn down projects, I am an integral part of the showbiz world. After completing my studies at Charukola, I started my career as an off-track artiste, and tried to work sincerely. I'm grateful to Almighty, my fans and directors for my success.
