''I love roar of the sea''…Kornia

A promising singer, Kornia came into the limelight through the musical reality show “Power Voice”. Since then, her career is on the roll. She is now very busy with stage shows. In a recent conversation with The Daily Star, Kornia spoke about her musical career.

What have you been busy with?

Kornia: I'm now passing hectic hours with stage shows. Due to this, I cancelled all live TV shows in December. There were even days when I had two shows.

Do you have anything going on in the recording studios?

Kornia: I have plans to release my first solo album this year. Although its name is yet to be confirmed, the work of the album is underway.

What's your expectation from 2015?

Kornia: I'm very optimistic about 2015, as I have had a great year. I want to keep myself busy more with music this year.

What type of songs you love listening to?

Kornia: There is no bar. Hindi, Bangla, English – almost anything.

Do you believe in astrology?

Kornia: I admit I enjoy reading astrological write-ups but I am not a firm believer. Frankly, you reap as you sow; everything depends on your capability.

Except music what really attracts you?

Kornia: Although music is everything in my life, I've emceed a few programmes. I also love dancing.

What's your hobby?

Kornia: Traveling. Cox's Bazar is my favourite vacation destination. I love the roar of the sea.

What's your dream?

Kornia: I want to be a celebrated stage performer.
