World Cancer Day celebrated at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka

Apollo Hospitals Dhaka celebrated World Cancer Day which takes place around the world every year on February 4 to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer, and pressing governments and individuals across the world to take action against the disease.

As part of the World Cancer Day, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka organised a rally jointly with Roche Bangladesh Limited and Sanofi Bangladesh Limited inside the Bashundhara residential area to increase awareness against the disease in the community. Cancer survivors from Aparajita Society Against Cancer, doctors and other officials from Apollo Hospital Dhaka actively took part in the rally. Free health checkup for the members of Aparajita Society Against Cancer were offered by the Apollo Hospitals Dhaka to mark the day.
