Dr Meerjady made additional director general of DGHS

Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora has been made additional director general (planning and development) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The Health Service Division of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

The notification issued by the order of the president will be applicable from August 20, it read.

Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora is currently the director of Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR). She was appointed as the IEDCR director in 2016.
