Dengue fever: 67 patients hospitalised in 24 hours

At least 67 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till this morning.

Among them, nine are from outside Dhaka.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue this year rose to 1,771, of whom 594 are from outside Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Some 209 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment. A total of 13 dengue patients have died so far this year.

A total of 1549 dengue patients were released from hospitals.

Total number of deaths in dengue was 281 last year while the total number of cases was 62,382, of whom 23,162 were outside Dhaka, according to the DGHS.
