Dengue fever: 40 more patients hospitalised in 24 hours

At least 40 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till this morning.

Among them, four are from outside Dhaka.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue this year rose to 1,487, of whom 557 are from outside Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Some 148 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment.

A total of 1,326 dengue patients were released from hospitals.

Total number of deaths in dengue was 281 last year while the total number of cases was 62,382, according to the DGHS.
