Dengue fever: 2 patients hospitalised in 24 hours

At least new two dengue patients, both from Dhaka were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new cases this year, the total number of dengue cases rose to 102 of which 61 are outside of Dhaka.

A total of 34 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment at hospitals in Dhaka and 11 outside the capital.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, in 2021, around 28,429 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country. The death toll stood at 105.
