Dengue fever: 1 dead, 91 more hospitalised in 24 hours

One dengue patient died while 91 more were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till 8:00am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With this incident, the number of deaths rose to 13 this year, DGHS said.

Of the 91 new cases, 24 are from outside Dhaka and with the new infections, the total number of dengue patients rose to 2980 this year.

Among the patients, 348 are still undergoing treatment of whom 85 are from outside of the capital.
