12 dengue patients hospitalised in last 24 hrs

At least 12 dengue patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till morning today.

Of them, seven were from outside Dhaka.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue cases this year rose to 424, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Some 93 dengue patients, 50 from outside Dhaka, are still undergoing treatment across the country.

A total of 328 dengue patients were released from hospitals. Of them, 170 were from outside Dhaka.

The total number of deaths in dengue was 281 last year while the total number of cases was 62,382, of which 23,162 were outside Dhaka, stated DGHS release.
