16 die of Covid-19 and symptoms in Bogura; infection rate 37.57%

Seven people died of Covid-19 and nine others died with coronavirus-like symptoms at three hospital in Bogura district in 24 hours till this morning.

Of the deceased, five breathed their last at Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, 10 died at Mohammad Ali Hospital and one at TMSS Medical College Hospital.

During the same period, samples of 487 people were tested and 183 of them found positive for the virus, our local correspondent reports quoting Bogura civil surgeon office.

The current positivity rate of infection in the district is 37.57 percent, according to the office data.
