Union-level vaccination to start on August 7: home minister

The government will launch a mass vaccination campaign at union level from August 7, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said today.

The minister shared the information with journalists at a briefing at Secretariat after a meeting with concerned government high-ups.

About the reopening of factories and industries, he said, "The ongoing lockdown will continue till August 5. Industrialists have requested to allow them to reopen factories. But we could not keep their requests."
