Expecting and nursing mothers will be able to take Covid-19 vaccine without confirmation SMS after registration.

In this case, they have to carry antenatal check-up (ANC) cards or prescriptions from registered expert physicians to the respective centres they have selected to get vaccine, said a circular published today on the official Facebook page of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Earlier on August 9, the DGHS issued a circular allowing expecting and nursing mother to receive Covid-19 vaccine after the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group of the health ministry recommended it.
