Bangladesh gets 17.9 lakh more Pfizer vaccines from US

Bangladesh today received another 17.90 lakh doses of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine from US under the COVAX facility.

The US Department of State in a tweet confirmed the information.

"The U.S. in partnership with #COVAX donated 1.79 million more Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses to Bangladesh, in addition to the 15 million doses we already provided," read the tweet.

"We continue to support Bangladesh and others in their vaccination efforts to save lives, with no strings attached," the tweet also added.
