55 lakh Sinopharm vaccine doses reach Dhaka

A total of 55 lakh doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine reached Dhaka from China early today.

A flight carrying the vaccines landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:40am, said Maidul Islam, senior information officer of the health ministry.

Officials of the ministry received the vaccines at the airport, he said.

Earlier, 55,53,650 Sinopharm doses arrived in Dhaka from China on August 31.
